ONZCA P991 is a solvent-based, high-performance underbody coating formulated with synthetic rubber and resin. Professional Application Guide

1. Surface Inspection & Preparation

   • Identify rusted/corroded areas; prepare tools, auxiliary solvents, and ONZCA P991.

   • Remove or mask non-target components (e.g., wheels, exhaust system).

2. Cleaning

   • Thoroughly wash and dry the underbody.

   • Treat rusted areas using rust converters (recommended: ONZCA DR400).

3. Product Preparation

   • Shake can thoroughly before unsealing to ensure uniform consistency.

   • Connect to an undercoating spray gun.

4. Application

   • Spray using 3–6 bar compressed air.

   • Maintain a 15–20 cm distance from the surface for even coverage.

   • For a textured finish or thicker layer, reduce distance.

   • Shake the can after every 2–3 sprays to avoid clogging or uneven application.

   • For dual-layer application, wait 15–30 minutes between coats.

5. Post-Application

   • Inspect for coverage, thickness, and uniformity.

   • Allow full cure for 8 hours. Protect from physical contact or external exposure during curing.

Precautions & Recommendations

• For enhanced sound damping, apply two coats using an appropriate volume of P991.

• Avoid driving in rain or washing the vehicle within 12 hours post-application.

• Do not expose the coating to fuel or oil, which may cause softening or delamination.
